Aprašymas

An intense and gripping Australian crime noir based on true events, After the Beach is a page-turning thriller perfect for fans of Jane Harper, Peter Temple and Chris Hammer.

The past always comes knocking.

This time it may beat down the door.

Reeling from the harrowing events of the year before, Ricky Deal spends his days at his favourite beachside spot. That is until a letter lands on his desk, forcing the past into the present and opening the door to a dark and twisted reality.

Reunited with Murphy and Ian, Rick's worlds start to blend. A plea to assist in another cold case, this time of two missing girls, and the shady dealings of his former band accountant coalesce into a terrifying quest for truth amid corruption and chaos, plunging everything known into question.

As the darkness closes in, claiming the lives of those on the periphery, Rick must decide if the ultimate price is worth bringing everything into the light.
